6 Ways To Help MPA
1. GET INVOLVED
Attend a meeting of your local preservation commission, help out at your local museum, donate funds for a local preservation project, rehabilitate your historic home, business, or agricultural buildings.
You don’t have to live in Helena to become a valuable MPA volunteer!
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Tell us your skills and interests and we’ll match you up with one of our programs.
Our organization operates on community support. Your financial donation could help stabilize a building, provide sign text, or help find a new owner for a building in need. Click the link above for more information.
By contributing to the MPA Endowment you can help make larger and more long lasting changes to preservation efforts statewide. Major tax benefits apply. Click the link above for more information.
5. VISIT and SPEAK OUT
If you love Montana’s historic places, visit them often, donate to them often, and tell your friends and family to do the same. If history speaks to you tell others all about it!
6. LIVE and WORK
Actions speak louder than words, and you can help save historic buildings simply by choosing to live and work in them every day. The greenest, most interesting buildings are those that are already built.
